This 1,150 sf Craftsman-style house close to downtown Burlingame needed 700 sf of extra space for a growing family.
A spacious master suite addition was planned for the rear of the site and
extended the L-shaped floor plan of the existing house. The existing bedrooms were enlarged, and
some minor interior alterations were made to accommodate the addition. Materials and exterior details
[roofing, stucco, painted outriggers, fascia and decking beneath extended overhangs] matched what
was existing to blend in the addition to the original house as much as possible.
